MaxwellZone HDR collection

Set of 10 very high quality HDRs, also with backplate photos, except for HDRs nr 1,2,6,10. Backplates are suitable for automotive renders.

The filename contains the Kelvin temperature for white balancing the render. For example "MZHDR_0001_7000_5500K.hdr" means the file is 7000px wide and you would need to set 5500K as the Temperature in in your renderers settings to get a grey square in the color checker that's lying flat on the plane. The HDRs were color balanced against this color checker instead of the one pointing towards the sunlight in order to get a more natural white balance.

You are of course not forced to use this particular color temperature, it's only ment as a guide. It may be interesting to play with color balance parameters in your renderers settings, especially when using dusk/dawn HDRs.

• Very high dynamic range
• Resolutions: 3500, 7000, 14000
• Sun disk (or brightest part when sun obscured) is centered in each HDR to easily swap HDRs and keep the shadows in the same direction
• When back plates are provided, they will be in both JPG and DNG formats. DNG (Digital Negative) is a compressed "RAW" format which allows you to change the back plate (exposure, white balance, contrast etc.) to your liking. They can be opened in Adobe Photoshop and other image editors.
